About Tyler

Tyler has been skiing since age 3 and competing in halfpipe and slopestyle events for the last 9 years. Considered one of the nicest guys on tour, he also loves to freeski and strives to be a well rounded athlete. He has competed in events such as the Jon Olsson Invitational, World Superpipe Championships, FIS World Championships, US Open, and Open's Freeski Tour. For the last 2 seasons, he has focused his efforts on the Winter Dew Tour. Ty scored the cover shot of this year's Powder Magazine Buyer's Guide.

The Volkl ad was in both the first Powder mag and Freeskier, excited to see where else it might end up.

This shot was def my favorite one from last season! I’ve always wanted to do a city shot at night up Neffs canyon. So pumped Mike Schirf had the same drive to hike way up there, build a jump and get’r done. I’m still waiting on my lifetime supply of Squatters beer though.
